Challenge
Create live events that allow Facebook executives and staff to connect with content creators and administrators within the Facebook community, while empowering and creating support for Facebook users globally.
Solution
Host a series of live events with senior Facebook leadership, thought leaders, and “super users” including the Facebook Communities Summit, Social Good Forum, Friends Day and Journalism Project. The Communities Summit helped inspire significant investment into “Groups” and is now a major focus for the platform. The Social Good Forum has become an annual event and inspired a positive Wired Cover story on the company in 2016. All have expanded globally.
